5 out of 5 stars Fabulous!!! Worth the wait.   September 23, 2009

It took a lot of patience waiting for this Soundtrack to be released, but it was definitely worth it. I only wish there were more of their terrific songs. All 26 songs had our entire family jumping and dancing round. If you love Phineas and Ferb, this is a definite 'Must Have'.

P.S. The listed Multimedia content is a waste of space. It's just useless ads. But who cares, the songs are great.

5 out of 5 stars Ferb-tastic!   November 1, 2009

Phineas and Ferb is a clever and creative show on the Disney channel. Ever since I started watching it alongside my tween, I figured a CD or at least digital downloads of single songs would be available -- but was surprised that they were not.

This CD solves the problem. It includes all the songs you've loved, including an extended-cut version of the title song, Busted, Gitchee Gitchee Goo, Squirrels in My Pants, and more.

This is a great CD to listen to in the car. It doesn't annoy the grown-ups, and it satisfies the 11 year old and the 5 year old.

5 out of 5 stars Comically Catchy Music For All Ages   January 3, 2010

One of Disney's most popular shows, "Phineas and Ferb" focuses on two boys who build elaborate projects to pass the day, their suspicious sister, and their pet platypus, who secretly fights a comedically pathetic villain. The show's soundtrack, much like the show itself, is fun for all ages, whimsical, well-done, and leaves you with a smile on your face. Even those who aren't familiar with the show will most likely get a kick out of these amusingly catchy, award-nominated little songs.

The series's talented writers are somehow able to jam a catchy musical number into every episode, and this soundtrack features a number of these from the show's first season. The songs themselves are musically diverse and feature homages to '60s pop, '80s pop, old sitcom theme songs, rap, techno, country, secret-agent theme songs, ballads, blues, and disco, among others. The well-written music in various styles range from simple pop melodies to songs based on unusual premises such as befriending a mummy, becoming the queen of Mars, and the relationship between a secret agent and his nemesis. To add to that, a very funny unexpected lyric pops up now and then giving a well-deserved comic kick, be it the hair band Love Handel comparing their unexpected lover to "a ninja of love rappelling down from above," a reminder that "your contacts need saline or else you can't see" in the middle of a list of things to do at a beach, or most of the wonderfully weird "Squirrels in My Pants," which rhymes the already-unusual title phrase with even stranger ones such as "How can I qualify for government grants?" Even the sweeter songs get a touch of humor, like a song about siblings with the comedically literal statement "You will always be my little brothers because you're younger, we're related, and you're boys."

Much like Phineas and Ferb themselves, you can add something special to your ordinary day with these comedically catchy songs, even if you're not familiar with their exploits. And when someone asks you if you're a little old to be listening to them, just do what they would and proudly respond, "yes, yes I am"- and let them listen, too.

5 out of 5 stars I know what we're gonna do today! Listen to P&F!!!   October 16, 2009

Not enough stars to rate this awesome CD!!!! My daughters and I have been dying to get this soundtrack. We totally love P&F (our license plate says "Agent-P"!) and the very creative songs are the best part. I love that they use different genres for different shows: rockabilly, country, 60's funk, 80's digital, soul, and blend it with the hilarious lyrics. The writers are geniuses and we look forward to each new episode and music with bated breath. Disney Records, if you read these, got to work on Volume II NOW! We need "S'Winter", "I'm Me", "We're Watching", "Danny's Song", "My Ride From Outer Space", "Let's Go Digital","Go Phineas", "My Chariot", "Destroyed Dreams", and "Evil Love", which is my 8-year-old daughter's favouritest song ever. You guys could have it out by Christmas!!!!!

If you love the show, then you will love the sound track. It doesn't have all the songs, especially from some of the newer episodes. However, it is a really fun with a lot of the the famous P&F songs.
