Great soundtrack from a great movie January 7, 2009 Cary_Granite (New York, NY United States) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I love this movie and the accompanying soundtrack. I don't understand why they have not been released in the US. And I am not a teenage British girl, I am a middle-aged American bloke. So there!
Let the "hear" fest begin September 14, 2008 Miss Golightly 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Is it possible to produce a soundtrack, which reflects the story in the movie perfectly? This CD gives us the answer: Oh yes! Each song reminds me of every certain scene, where it was played and brings some kind of the magic back. I really do love the selection of the songs.
Furthermore there is this awsome layout; weird, multicolored and crazy - just like Georgia.
My two favs on the CD are "Young Folks" - Peter Bjorn & John and "Who needs Love" - Razorlight, but every track is really great, especially the Stiff Dylans, who kind of bring the soundtrack "back to its bones".
The only thing I don't like: "Naive" from Lily Allen. I'm not a 100% sure, I thought in the movie there was the other (better!) version from the Kooks.. what a shame. But apart from this: top! Or just like Georgia would express it: Let the "hear" fest begin.
Teenager approved February 17, 2010 D. Jones (Ft. Bragg, NC USA) The teenagers in our household found this entertaining and liked the soundtrack as well. Now they all want an 'Angus Rocks' t-shirt. Lots of laughs.
Great CD! March 15, 2010 Red (USA) The movie is a little dorky (in a good way, though!) but I love love LOVE the music. :D Great buy!
One of my favorite CDs April 1, 2010 G. Baker Even without the movie, this music can stand alone well. It has variety: from slower sad songs to super happy rock songs. Catchy songs, and great lyrics! I love to listen to this on my early morning commute. It wakes me up calmly, and gets me in a good mood to attack the day.
