What Rock n' Roll is suppose to sound like! March 13, 2000 Jeff Snellenberger (Michigan) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
JC and the BBB did an "excellent" job recording this album... A style of Rock n'Roll that is captured from the "Soul".... A style not many Bands are doing now a days...,, Not only does "Eddie" live (in the movie),, but the "Music" lives thanks to John Cafferty... A "must have" for your collection!
ROCK AND ROLL AT IT'S FINEST March 6, 2004 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
If you like good rock and roll you'll love this soundtrack. Eddie and the Cruisers 2 Eddie Lives is excellent. John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band do the music it's a shame they did'nt release more. By the way the movie is also fantastic.
A great album by a great band January 11, 2000 the future Mrs Boreanaz (Wouldn't you like to know?) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I love the music on Eddie 2 more than the original soundtrack (I can hear the gasps of shock). The 2 heartfelt songs 'Just A Moment In Time' and 'NYC Song' rival the beautiful 'Tender Years' from first album. But songs like 'Garden Of Eden' (my favorite song) and 'Running Through The Fire' just ooze out of the stereo speakers. It's wonderful.

I can't even remember a time when I DIDN'T know all the words to every song on the Eddie & the Cruisers movie soundtracks! This CD in particular is the most wonderful compilation of rock'n'roll and amazing talent. You can't help but love every song on the album! The point is that this soundtrack is CLASSIC! Even though this movie came out in the late 80's, these songs are just as good today, and they really capture the incredible fever and passion of an artist that the world just wasn't ready to handle. I've ceased to believe that Eddie Wilson never lived because to me John Cafferty IS Eddie and the
Beaver Band his "Cruisers." This CD is worth every cent!

My husband and I would like to know why John Cafferty and his band never topped the charts. They are great. I recently found the movie Eddie & The Cruisers Eddie Lives again and I already had the C.D. What happened to the band????
